Education achievements: Carson City student honored at Gonzaga

Callen Aten, a 2014 graduate of Carson High School, was named to the fall 2014 president’s list at Gonzaga University.

To make the list, students must earn a 3.7 or better grade-point average.

Carson City women honored for achievements

Carson City’s Christine and Rebecca Gansberg were both honored for their accomplishments at their respective universities.

Christine Gansberg achieved above a 3.6 grade-point average to be named to the scholastic honors list for the fall 2014 semester at Concordia University in Wisconsin.

Rebecca Lynn Gansberg achieved a 3.75 or higher grade-point average with 12 or more credits earned to be named to the dean’s list of the Division of Health Sciences for the fall 2014 semester at the University of Nevada, Reno.
