Event raises $4,500 worth of food for Dayton Food Pantry

A police car was stuffed with $4,500 worth of food, plus $612 in cash, on Jan. 7 to benefit the Dayton Food Pantry. Alie Trier, Dayton Food Pantry manager, thanks pantry volunteers and the Lyon Sheriff’s Department and the Volunteers in Policing, as well as Smith’s in Dayton and area residents who contributed.
