A 44-year-old man who served 20 years in prison for the 1982 rape of a Gardnerville woman, was jailed today in the rapes of two Reno women.

According to a news release from Reno Police Lt. “The arrest comes as the result of an exhaustive criminal investigation of Curtis Lange for the listed crimes,” McDonald said.”We recognize that there may be other victims of this defendant in the area that may not have reported their assault. Accordingly, the Reno Police Department encourages any other victims of this individual to contact the Reno Police Department.”

Lange was convicted in 1982 of the sexual assault of a teenage classmate in Gardnerville. He received a sentence of 20 years to life and was paroled in 2002 after serving 20 years.

Lange is being held in the Washoe County Jail without bail.
