Glitch sends out truancy messages from CHS

Nevada Appeal Staff Report

Parents who received a message from Carson High School on Monday saying their child had missed class that day can relax. A glitch in the system sent phone or

e-mail messages to the parents of all students saying their child had not attended class. It advised parents to call the school within three days to excuse the absence.

However, the recorded message at the

school explained the error.

“Please disregard that message as we had a glitch in our new phone system,” it said.
