Golf, golf and golf for great causes
August 22, 2008
It’s time to get the clubs out and help the next four golf tournaments continue to assist so many in our community.
This golf tournament has a twist ” you get to enjoy nine holes of evening golf, wine tasting and dine on a gourmet dinner at the Silver Oaks Club. This event is limited and features great prizes and a silent auction.
Here is the twist, if you are a non-golfer, you can enjoy the social hour with appetizers and bunco hosted by the BAWN Women’s Council. You’ll receive the same benefits of wine tasting and gourmet dinner without searching for that little white ball.

Talk about saving lives ” this group does it daily. Drugs and alcohol affect everyone, someone in your family, a friend or even a co-worker.
The Community Counseling Center has increased by 30 percent the amount of services it provides, and it continues to rise.
Meth, heroin and prescription usage is up, and they need funding to assist in the fight.
They have one fundraiser per year, so grab the clubs and help Mary Bryan and her dedicated staff continue an endless fight against alcohol and drug abuse.
If you don’t golf, that’s OK. Join the luncheon and show your support.
