Juvenile hurt in head-on collision

Staff report

A juvenile male was flown to the hospital Thursday after he got into a head-on collision with a truck while riding his dirt bike on Dayton Toll Road, near State Route 341.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, the juvenile was riding south on the road when he got into the wreck with an older model pickup going north and driven by Ronald Moe of Dayton.

Moe was not hurt and was arrested later on unrelated charges.

The sheriff’s department did not release the juvenile’s name nor his condition at Renown Regional Medical Center.
