Library to close to undergo upgrade
Carson City Library is planning a technology upgrade, which will require closing the library from June 1-14. Materials that have been checked out as of April 26 will have an extended return due date that will reflect the closure.
The technology upgrade will automate the circulation department with self-check stations. Funding for this automation upgrade has been provided with a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, as well as a grant from the Nauman Foundation, gifts from the Carson City Library Foundation, and Friends of the Carson City Library.
Book reservations will reopen in June.
