November 3, 2005
A man remained in custody Thursday on six sexual assault charges out of Oregon.
Mitchel Marlin Burns, 42, a grounds supervisor who lists a South Roop Street address, was booked into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of two counts of felony first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, two counts of first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
The case is out of the Salem Police Department. The warrants were issued by the Circuit Court of Oregon on Oct. 27.
Burns waived extradition and Marion County officials have 30 days to pick him up. He is being held without bail.
