A Carson City man, driving on a suspended license for driving under the influence, was injured Friday morning in an accident at Granite Way and East College Parkway.

Jeremy Lee James, 22, was westbound on College Parkway about 8:23 a.m. when a Ford Windstar minivan driven by Amanda Ratcliff, 25, attempted to make a left turn onto Granite Way.

James’ motorcycle struck the rear of the minivan. He was transported by ambulance to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Ratcliff was uninjured.

James was arrested in December for drunken driving. According to court records, he pleaded guilty to the charge on Jan. 10 and his license was revoked.
