Murder suspect caught in Mexico arrives in Nevada
RENO – A teenager wanted in the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy has been captured in Mexico and returned to Nevada.
Sparks police say 16-year-old Oscar Uribe was caught last week and deported to the United States. First he was held in Los Angeles then sent on Friday to Sparks.
He is accused in the death of Elvin Beltran who was shot Dec. 5 during a late-night fight involving about 25 people after a party in Sparks.
The Sun Valley resident booked into the Washoe County Jail on suspicion of murder.
