Names released in alleged murder-suicide
A man allegedly gunned down his ex-wife before killing himself this morning near College Parkway and North Carson Street.
The two were found just east of Highway 395 near 7-Eleven.
According to the Carson City Sheriff’s office, Richard Clements was seen chasing his ex-wife, Regina Clements with a gun. Witnesses said that the woman fell to the ground after being shot from behind, and that the shooter then fired multiple shots into her before shooting himself.
The Nevada Appeal withheld the names of those involved at the request of the sheriff’s office until the couple’s 12-year-old daughter could be notified.
More details will follow in tomorrow’s Appeal.
