Nevada Appeal at 150: Feb. 3, 1975: Carson City Sheriff’s Office gets new look

Don Rosenberry and Dispatcher Marilyn McElhaney display new uniforms of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, along with the department’s new Plymouth Fury. Green and white cars will be part of the department’s new look, with officers dressed in dark green trousers and jackets, brown shirts and green trooper hats. New overhead lights on the cars are also planned, with both red and blue lights.
