CARSON’S FIRST JET — This Gruman Gulfstream turbo-jet landed at the Carson City Airport today at about 10 a.m. bringing Bechtel Engineering Corporation officials here for vacation. The plane took 40 minutes to fly here from Oakland, and has a cruising speed of 350 mph. Pilots were Vic F. Voit and L.F. Hickman. Appeal photo by Sue Morrow.
