Obituary for Melvin E. Renouf

Melvin E. Renouf, 90, died Nov. 28, 2002, at Carson Care Center in Carson City.

He was born Dec. 7, 1911, in Beaver Falls, Pa., to Ernest Renouf and Florence M. Jewel.

He lived in Carson City for 14 years after moving from Paradise, Calif. He worked as an executive engineer for Rocketdyne Corp.

He was a member of Elks Lodge 2177 of Carson City, Table Mountain Masonic Lodge 124 and Eagles Lodge 1006. He was a Shriner with White Shrine of Jerusalem. He was a member of the First Congregational Church and was a Protestant.

Survivors include his daughters Peggy Ingram of Stateline and Beverly Gillette of Carson City; brother, Dwayne Renouf of Texas; eight grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

No services will be held. FitzHenry’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
