Orange County police look for suspect who tried to drug teens
SANTA ANA, Calif. – Police in Orange County are looking for a man who allegedly tried to drug two 13-year-old girls and held them in a storage facility for several hours.
Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna says the suspect, a man in his 20s, gave the girls a ride in his car Wednesday.
Bertagna says the man drove the girls to a Public Storage unit and tried to give them illegal drugs.
One of the girls managed to escape and returned to the storage facility with her friend’s family. They confronted the man, but he escaped.
Bertagna says detectives have a description of the suspect and are pursuing leads in the case.
