The fine record of the volunteer Warren Fire Engine Company has been a big factor in bringing about decreases in insurance rates in this city. It is up to the citizens to respond generously to the company’s one request of the year for funds, which give added protection. Purchase dance tickets and make donations.

Douglas County sheriff’s officers are taking a college-accredited six-week course in Spanish. The volunteer course is taken on the deputies own time.
