On Sunday evening the Right Rev. Bishop Whittaker administered the apostolic rate of confirmation at the Episcopal Church to Mrs. Siddons, Mrs. Headrick and Misses Lizzie Murphy, Carrie Headrick, Jennie Sturdevant, Kate Hardie, Bell Goddard and Bertha Wagner. The choir was dressed in pure white. Misses Gates and Dorsey and Messrs. Mason and Edison also attended. Many were unable to gain admittance.

Norris & Rowe’s big shows will be in Carson City April 24 under enormous tents opposite the railroad depot. Included are Fargo, Duke and Dutchess, the dwarf elephants. A grand, free street parade will be at 11 a.m. with 500 animals.

Charges of cruelty were emphatically denied in district court in the divorce of William H. Kennedy, a wealthy Canadian. He said his wife made critical statements about his bridge playing, and nagged him about money.
