May: May Day is upon us … The festivities of the occasion are to be remembered by the Misses Clapp and Babcock of the Sierra Seminary whose pupils and friends are going on a picnic in the mountains. If the wind isn’t colder than yesterday, an ordinary buffalo robe and a blanket overcoat for each of the revelers will be sufficient to avert pneumonia.
