A hornet’s nest: A pair of old trousers were hanging up in Hymers’ stable when an Indian came along and asked the proprietor for the abandoned garment. He was happy for fifty yards, but then let out a whoop and bellow with a score or two of enraged hornets after him. A nest of insects had been built in the breeches. He will eat his grub off a high table for some time. (Reno Gazette)
