A cunning fox: Cal Knapp found a fox lying dead on the ground. He concluded to take it in the house and show it to his family. His wife held it in her lap and remarked that the foxes body was still warm. The children played with it. Someone opened a window and like a flash the fox leaped from Mrs. Knapp’s lap and out the window.

All sorts: Theodore Winters, who has been suffering from a severe cold, is not improving and his friends are anxious as to the outcome of his indisposition.

Superman returns: Christopher Reeve is taking on his first acting role in a CBS-TV movie called “Snakes & Ladders.” The film stars Judith Light as the divorced mother of a paralyzed boy, and Reeve counsels and gives him hope.
