It will no doubt be a cause for thankfulness that readers of the Appeal can pick up the paper in the morning and not be confronted with columns of dry Legislative reports. It is hardly probably that one person in 10 ever stopped to read them and that the nine that did not, would have considered themselves swindled outrageously had the reports not been printed. The compositors are grateful the agony is over … in the future local columns will be enlivened with the somnolent summer months.
