Reno police seek suspects in home invasion

RENO (AP) – Reno police say two friends were robbed when they were confronted by two men as they were leaving an apartment.

Investigators say the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment on Paradise Drive.

Authorities say one of the suspects was carrying a handgun. The two forced their way inside, demanded money, searched the apartment and left with some cash and a laptop computer.

The victims, both men in their early 20s, suffered minor injuries and did not seek medical treatment.

Police describe the suspects as black and in their late 20s to early 30s. One was about 6-foot-3, 250 pounds, and was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt and a dark bandanna over his face. The other was about 6-foot-1, of medium build, and wore dark clothes.
