Senator Square: FFA students compete in national contest
For the Nevada Appeal
The students and staff made it through another year of proficiency testing. We wait and see how the students fared.
We have no school Monday as CHS is closed for Veteran’s Day. Thank you to all of the courageous men and women who have served our country in both times of peace and war.

This week the Senior Spotlight is on Matthew Salvador. Matthew maintains a weighted grade-point average of 4.24 while attending several advanced placement and honors classes.
He plans on attending either University of Nevada, Reno or University of Wisconsin. He would like to major in zoology, specializing in entomology (study of bugs).
Matthew has been part of our cross country and track and field teams for the last three years. He plans on joining the Carson High School swim team. He has also been a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). This year he is a middle school liaison for FBLA.
CHS is proud of Matthew and his accomplishments.
