Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

MONDAY: Chili, corn bread, spiced pears and sherbet.

TUESDAY: Chile relleno, refried beans, zucchini, blushed pears and churro.

WEDNESDAY: Honey roasted turkey sub sandwiches, lettuce and tomato, potato chips and orange wedges.

THURSDAY: Clam chowder, sourdough bread, carrot raisin salad, peaches and butterscotch pudding.

FRIDAY: Liver and onion or Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, corn and applesauce.


Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Pizza, green beans with tomatoes and mushrooms, corn, peaches and cake.

TUESDAY: Chicken Parmesan, spinach noodles, California blend vegetables, orange spinach salad, toasted bread sticks, fruit cocktail in light syrup and apple juice.

WEDNESDAY: Pork fajitas, stir fry vegetables, rice, tortilla, apple slices and fortune cookies.

THURSDAY: Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, bananas and apricot pineapple punch.

FRIDAY: Lasagna, spinach, broccoli and cauliflower, garlic bread, mixed fruit and cake and ice cream.


Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

MONDAY: Lemon baked fish, baked potatoes, beet salad, broccoli and carrots, whole wheat bread with apple butter and honeydew melon.

TUESDAY: Taco salad bowls, refried beans, Spanish rice, sour cream, salsa and apple crisp.

WEDNESDAY: Combination pizza, spring mix salad, grapes and frosted brownies.

THURSDAY: Beef taco, ranch style beans, corn and orange rice pudding.

FRIDAY: Chicken Caesar salad, cheese, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, grapes and banana nut muffins.


Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Ham and Swiss on whole wheat bread, carrots, peas, Tater Tots and Mandarin oranges.

TUESDAY: Breaded fish squares, tartar sauce, rice pilaf, coleslaw, whole wheat bread, pears and cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken with mushroom sauce, beets, red potatoes, margarine, citrus salad and cherry cobbler.

THURSDAY: Eggplant Parmesan, spinach spaghetti, carrot raisin salad, garlic bread, fruited yogurt pie and orange banana juice.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: French toast with syrup, bacon and watermelon.


Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Cream of broccoli soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

TUESDAY: Creamy herb pork chops, Greek stuffed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and rolls.

WEDNESDAY: Shepherd’s pie, spinach and bananas.

THURSDAY: Chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans and salad.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10-11: Pancakes, eggs and melon.


Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way: MONDAY: N/A.

TUESDAY: Chili cheese baked potatoes, steamed carrots, banana muffins and peach butter.

WEDNESDAY: Lasagna, vegetable salad, cheddar biscuits and sherbet.

THURSDAY: Chicken cordon bleu, scalloped potatoes, vegetables and cherry strudel.

FRIDAY DINNER 3:30: Country style ribs, sauerkraut, red potatoes, vegetables, green salad, dinner roll and chocolate parfait.
