CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive.

Monday: Turkey chili, mixed greens, salad, Ambrosia, cornbread w/margarine.

Tuesday: Swedish meatballs, egg noodles, peas and onions, blushed pears, lemon Jell-O.

Wednesday: Chicken breast with peanut sauce, fried rice, Oriental vegetables, Mandarin oranges.

Thursday: Cabbage rolls, linguini, diced carrots, spiced apples, whole wheat roll with margarine.

Friday: Salmon with cucumber sauce, scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, pound cake.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road.

Monday: Sloppy Joe’s on hamburger bun, baked beans, carrots, chocolate pudding.

Tuesday: Pizza, green beans with tomatoes and mushrooms, corn, cake with peaches.

Wednesday: Chicken and dumplings, beets, citrus salad, fruit cobbler.

Thursday: Veal scaloppini, mashed potatoes, green beans, fruit cocktail, whole wheat roll.

Friday: Shrimp scampi on rice pilaf, broccoli au gratin, tropical fruit cup, garlic bread.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Beef liver, mashed potatoes, Mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced peaches.

Tuesday: Corn beef with cabbage, fruit salad, red potatoes, carrots, rye bread, island paradise cake.

Wednesday: Barbecue chicken, roasted vegetables, broccoli salad, wheat bread, fruit gelatin dessert.

Thursday: Sweet Italian sausage with peppers and onions, polenta, beef vegetable soup, whole wheat crackers, broccoli, mixed green salad, banana.

Friday: Breaded cod, macaroni salad, baked potato, sour cream/green onions, tarter sauce, broccoli, sherbet.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Avenue.

Monday: Veal cutlets, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas/carrots, fruit crisp.

Tuesday: Cafe Concept Day. Pork chow mien with Udon noodles, fish and chips, beef and bean burrito, turkey and Swiss sandwich, cole slaw, corn carrots, apple, chocolate pudding.

Wednesday: Teriyaki chicken, fried rice, layered salad, oranges.

Thursday: Pasta Fagiole (soup), pizza, salad bar, banana

Friday: Turkey ala king, California veggies, plums, apple juice.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City.

Monday: Cabbage rolls, rice pilaf, vegetables, Jell-O fruit mold.

Tuesday: Chicken salad, quiche Lorraine, baked apples, carrot cake.

Wednesday: Baked ham, scalloped potatoes, yams, fruit, cake.

Thursday: Spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, green salad, fruit.

Friday: Breaded cod, rice pilaf, vegetables, tartar sauce, pudding, ice cream.

FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Drive.

Monday: Brunch for dinner; French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, peaches, V8 and orange juice.

Tuesday: Roast turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans with mushrooms, roll with margarine, fruit crisp.

Wednesday: Macaroni and cheese, spinach, whole wheat bread with margarine, strawberry yogurt.

Thursday: Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole wheat roll with margarine, banana, cookie.

Friday: Breakfast; scrambled eggs, bacon, toast with margarine and jelly, fresh fruit, V8 and orange juice.
