Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 23-year-old casino worker from Carson City was arrested at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday at Woodside Drive and Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs. Bail was set at $1,132.

• An 18-year-old transient was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on two contempt of court warrants.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Vehicle injury report in the 1900 block of Hamilton Avenue at 6:47 a.m.

• A woman reported at 9:48 a.m. her aunt used her credit card without her permission.

• A purse was stolen from a customer at the Ormsby Thrift Store at 12:49 p.m.

• A woman was cited at Safeway at 4:01 p.m. for shoplifting.

• A man reported at 4:29 p.m. that when he’d just returned home to the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive he discovered his iPhone, television and computer were missing.

• A man reported at 5:26 p.m. that a neighbor, against whom he had a protection order, was nailing something to a fence the caller owned.

• An intoxicated woman called 911 at 8:31 p.m. to report her fiance was late coming home from work so she was going to throw his things out. Dispatchers told the woman she didn’t have an emergency, but she couldn’t understand.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a safe missing from a home on Palmer Court in Dayton at 5:48 a.m.

• A woman on Julia Way in Fernley reported she was threatened by a man at 7:36 a.m.

• A Mason Valley reported he’d fallen victim to Internet fraud involving his bank account.
