Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 58-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 3:26 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $237.

• A 47-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Friday in the hospital parking lot on three counts of misdemeanor possession of hypodermic device and probation violation.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 12:48 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 1:16 p.m.

• Report of battery by a prisoner on a prisoner in the jail at 2:12 p.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 4:58 p.m.

• A man reported at 7:57 p.m. that he thought he found a pipe bomb in his backyard on Ashby Court.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Misdemeanor domestic battery arrest near the Fernley Post Office at 11:06 a.m.

• Traffic violation arrest on Campbell Lane in Mason Valley at 5:22 p.m.

• Coroner call on Mesa Drive in Mason Valley after 92-year-old man “collapsed in the snow” at 7:36 p.m.

• A stolen vehicle was recovered from the Smith’s parking lot in Dayton at 8:27 p.m.

• Caller on Rue De La Chartreuse asked at 10:28 a.m. for help with the removal of wild horses from the area. She said the horses were in her yard throughout the night.

“They put up a string fence, however, the horses still made their way onto the property.”

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Caller at 7:58 a.m. reported the senior center on North E Street was burglarized. Caller said entry was made through a restroom window and an office door was kicked in.
