Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

– Leon Darcell Reed, 40, a hair stylist from Carson City, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Sheffield Manor on suspicion of felony pandering and gross misdemeanor open and gross lewdness. Bail was set at $10,132.

– Daniel Boyd Banks, 23, unemployed from Dayton, was arrested at the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony burglary. Bail was set at $25,000.

– Hugo Diaz-Ramirez, 26, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of S. Carson Street on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

– Brian Paul Hunt, 37, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions and violation of an extended protection order. Bail was set at $9,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

– Report of an 8-year-old student “attacking a teacher” at Bordewich-Bray Elementary School at 8:35 a.m.

– Report of someone trying to pass a counterfeit check at Wal-Mart at 1:31 p.m.

– Accident at Roop and William streets at 3:22 p.m.

– A shark was stolen from Jan’s Tropics on Corbett Street by two men in their 20s. One man was 6-feet tall with dark hair and was last seen wearing plaid baggy shorts. The other was 5-feet-6-inches tall with a crew cut.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

– Report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle on Earth Circle in Fernley at 7:11 a.m.

– Misdemeanor arrest on Comstock Road in Dayton at 1:49 p.m.

– Felony arrest on Shadow Drive in Fernley at 9:15 p.m.
