Sheriff’s Log: Carson City woman arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:
• 8:29 p.m.: Tiffany Christina Rampley, 25, of Carson City was arrested in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and violation of bail conditions. According to Rampley’s arrest report, a deputy saw two suspicious-looking people walking close to the Frontier Plaza Shopping Center. He learned that Rampley was on alternative sentencing, then reportedly found a small bindle of suspected methamphetamine in her bag. Total bail was set at $5,500.
• 8:16 a.m.: Jerilyn Grace Aldrich, 28, of Carson City was arrested in the 500 block of North Stewart Avenue on a felony fugitive-from-justice warrant out of Nevada County, Calif., as well as on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and suspended registration. According to Aldrich’s arrest report, a deputy learned her registration was suspended and stopped her in a parking lot. He conducted a warrant check and learned of the felony warrant, and he and two other deputies ordered her out of her vehicle at gunpoint. A deputy reportedly found a marijuana pipe and a small amount of marijuana in her vehicle. Total bail was set at $11,050.
• 5:20 p.m.: A 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 50 East on a failure-to-appear/traffic citation out of Carson City. Bail was set at $215.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs.
