Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Joel David Germain, 40, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of East Long Street on a felony parole violation out of California. No bail was set.

• Marco Antonio Mendez, 34, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Carson City Jail on a state drug warrant for two counts of trafficking and one count of sale of a controlled substance. Mendez is currently serving a prison stint for conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act out of Douglas County.

• A 46-year-old waiter from Carson City was arrested at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on suspended registration, driving without a license, driving without insurance and probation violation. Bail was set at $4,486.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday on College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $242.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A garage on East Proctor Street was burglarized sometime before 3:21 p.m.

• Report at 6:41 p.m. of $1,100 missing from a home on Northgate Lane.

• Report of someone trying to light a fire in a field in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East at 10:16 p.m.

A person was cited.

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 11:58 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Mesa Drive in Fernley at 2:16 a.m.

• Report of a window shot out on a vehicle on Occidental Drive in Mark Twain at 11:47 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Lois Lane in Fernley at 12:16 p.m.
