Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jared Nicholas Roberts, 28, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. Thursday in the 2600 block of Concord Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor unlawful use of 911. Bail was set at $1,000.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Thursday at Northgate Lane and College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor driving with expired registration, driving without insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of three vehicles burglarized in a garage on Numaga Pass sometime before 7:11 a.m. A cell phone and credit cards were among the items stolen.

• Embezzlement report on South Curry Street at 11:43 a.m.

• Report of a mailbox smashed on Gentry Lane at 1:11 p.m.

• Report of two people stealing a Wii game console from Rent-A-Center on Highway 50 East at 2:26 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a man ordering food in the Fernley Burger King, then when it was discovered he had no money, he went outside and threw a rock through the window. A felony arrest was made at 9:09 a.m.

• Report of a man in a cowboy hat drinking at Fernley bar and leaving without paying the tab at 4:27 p.m.

• A juvenile was cited for stealing an energy drink from a Fernley store at 4:05 p.m.
