Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:39 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South Carson Meadows Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor Lyon County warrant for traffic, driving without a license and unsafe backing. Bail was set at $2,464.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of an ATV stolen from a shed on Mountain Street sometime before 11:23 a.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on Colt Circle at 11:38 a.m.

• A 17-year-old was cited for shoplifting at Sak N’ Save at 2:32 p.m.

• A man watching a home on Comstock Circle for his neighbors found the place had been burglarized at 3:35 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a window shot out with a BB on Mountain Rose Drive in Fernley.

• A Dayton High student was cited for disrupting classes at 10:04 a.m.

• A Fernley homeowner returned from a three-week vacation and found their home had been burglarized and multiple items taken on Shadow Mountain Drive.

• Report at 12:57 p.m. of two students at Dayton Intermediate School who admitted to stealing an iPod and cell phone and trying to sell them.
