Teachers cook for Seeliger students
High-stakes testing is always stressful for teachers, students, parents and administrators. Fourth-grade teachers at Al Seeliger Elementary helped reduce this stress by cooking breakfast for all fourth-graders during the week of the Criterion Referenced Tests. They served pancakes, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit and juice March 8-11 for students to have the energy for the testing.
These tests lasted up to three hours, but the teachers cooking for students helped motivate and feed approximately 100 students each of these four testing days.
