Tips sought in Brown Street shooting
November 10, 2008
Police are looking for information about who fired several gunshots on Brown and Gordon streets early Saturday morning.
No injuries were reported, but a bullet did pierce a truck parked on Brown Street.
Carson Sheriff’s Detective Daniel Gonzales said 911 received several calls about 2:15 a.m. of shots being fired.
When officers arrived, a man, whose name was not released, said he’d left a woman in his truck on Brown Street to run into a friend’s house. When he heard the gunfire, he went outside and saw that his truck was gone.
Another vehicle was also reportedly seen leaving the area, but no description was obtained, said Gonzales.
Investigators recovered several shell casings from the scene.
