Traveling Body Exhibit at museum
An event Saturday at the Children’s Museum will include a traveling body exhibit that features a pumping heart, a chemistry lab, vision testing, a station where children are taught to call 911, child fingerprinting and a nurse on hand to answer questions.
The cost is $3 for ages
2 and older. Adults are $5, seniors $4. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Secret Witness turns 40 this year – and it’s helped solve many of Northern Nevada’s most violent crimes
Secret Witness tips have played a pivotal role in solving some of the most violent crimes the greater Northern Nevada region has seen. To date, Secret Witness has paid out more than $300,000 in rewards to anonymous tipsters. Rewards range from $50 (graffiti/tagging) to $1,500 (armed robbery) to $2,500 (murder).
