Cornelius (Case) Van Zwaluwenburg

Cornelius (Case) Van Zwaluwenburg , Fallon resident, passed away April 15, 2019 . He was born in Oldebrock, Holland to Cornelius and Eva Van Zwaluwenburg.

Case retired from the the US Navy and the Coast Guard, spanning two and a half decades of service to his country, retiring CW03. He was a Flight engineer on a C-130, Search and Air Rescue.

Case was very active in the community, as a volunteer for Hospital Auxliary, Member of the Warrant Officers Assoc. and he helped at the Methodist Church with the Fallon Daily Bread program.

Case is survived by his wife of 63 years Marlyn Van Zwaluwenburg of Fallon, Nevada; son, Dan Van Zwaluwenburg of Kodiak, Alaska; daughter, Leslie Van Valkenberg of Bonaire, Netherlands; three granddaughters, Summer; D-yonna, Carli; brother, Jack Van Zwaluwenburg of Bellflower, Ca. and sister Lucille Walhof of Artesia, Ca.

There will be services to Celebrate Case’s Life on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at The Gardens Funeral Home.
