Obituary: Hart Nathan "Cappy" Cook

Hart Nathan “Cappy” Cook, 79, of Incline Village, Nev., died Dec. 12, 2009, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Madera, Calif. He was preceded in death by his son, Doug, and his sister, Jane Hynes of Modesto, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diane; sons, Randy of Oahu, Hawaii, Dan of Sacramento, Calif., and Terry of Kings Beach, Calif.; stepdaughters, Linda Tierney of Andover, Mass., and Sharon Oliveira of Mammoth Lakes, Calif.; and stepson, Jim Link of Carson City; seven grandchildren, and three nieces. A viewing will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, Carson City. A graveside ceremony at the Mono Lake Cemetery will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. A memorial service will be held Jan. 16 at the Tahoe North Ward, Hwy 267 and Kingswood Dr., Kings Beach, Calif. Walton’s Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
