“Rose” was raised in St. Louis, Mo., and moved to Idaho in 1941, where she met and later married Jay W. Keller on Nov. 23, 1944. The Keller family moved from Idaho to Nevada in 1965 and became Carson City residents in 1966.

Baking was Rose’s favorite thing to do, and she enjoyed delivering trays of cookies and candies to her family and friends on holidays. Rose spent most of her life as a homemaker and worked occasionally at JC Penny, OARC Thrift Shop, and other Carson City businesses, but her true devotion was to her family.
