Community flu shots 2- 6 p.m. Thursday at the Carson Mall, 1122 S. Stewart St. The flu clinic is open to everyone and no appointments are necessary. The cost for a flu shot is $25. ‘Nick of Time’ yule show a Brewery
“The Nick of Time Christmas Show” is presented by the Carson Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Brewery’s Donald W. Reynolds Black Box Theater, 449 W. King St.
It’s $8 for all seating; $3 discount for BAC members, seniors and students. In this two-act collection of comedy scenes, amateur thespians are preparing a Christmas Eve production at the community center, but nothing is working right.

‘High School Musical’ scheduled
Wild Horse Theater Children’s Theater, in collaboration with The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, presents Disney’s “High School Musical.” at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Brewery to hold Pottery and Pasta event
The Brewery Arts Center presents a pottery studio fundraiser noon-4 p.m. Saturday. Features spaghetti meals served in original bowls handmade by BAC pottery instructors and Muffy Vhay. Bowls will be $15 a person. After the meal, patrons keep the bowl.
CTRHA hosting open house
The Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary Gift Shop is holding a Holiday Open House 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday. All merchandise in the will be 25 percent off with the exception of See’s candy, flowers and greeting cards. All proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary in support of the Regional Medical Center, Nursing Scholarships and Health care needs. For information contact 445-5142.
Musical ‘Evita’ coming
Winner of seven Tony Awards, “Evita’ brings to life the dynamic Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in Reno. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday.
