Carson City Elks Lodge meets Tuesdays

Carson City Elks Lodge No. 2177 holds its regular club meetings at 7:30 p.m. on the first, third and fourth Tuesday of the month.

Sierra Hearth and Home hosts chamber mixer

Sierra Hearth and Home in the Quail Park Center at 2350 S. Carson St. will host the monthly Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce membership mixer from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. The mixer is open to members and those interested in becoming members. There is no charge. Call 882-1565.

Lawyer in the Library program continues

The Lawyer in the Library Program is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Nevada Supreme Court Library, 201 S. Carson St., first floor.

Appointments will be scheduled for interested participants to meet with a volunteer attorney for approximately 10-15 minutes.

Dayton

Dayton Boosters hold golf tournament

The Dayton High School Boosters will hold its 12th annual Golf Tournament at 9 a.m. May 21 at the Dayton Valley Golf Club. The entry fee includes green fees, a cart and a lunch buffet. There will be cash prizes for first, second and third place as well as prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive for men and women, and a car for a hole-in-one on the designated hole. Registration costs $125 per person for a four-person team before May 7, and $20 more after. Cost for sponsoring a hole is $100, and a bunker is $50.

CREW to hold monthly luncheon Wednesday

The Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network of Northern Nevada holds its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino’s second level, next to Monte Vigna Restaurant.

This month’s speaker is Robert Lichtenstein, director of Real Estate Services with the University of Nevada,a Reno.
