Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

– Mario Aguirre-Cairo, a 20-year-old Carson City man, was arrested at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at the city jail on suspicion of felony battery of a prisoner. Bail was set at $25,000.

– A 31-year-old Carson City student was arrested at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday at North Carson Street and Arrowhead Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

– A 36-year-old Carson City landscaper was arrested at 8:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,132.

– A 24-year-old homeless man was arrested at 12 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a misdemeanor violation of sentencing conditions. Bail was set at $1,000.

– A 35-year-old Carson City construction worker was arrested at 800 E. Musser St. at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday on misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $1,126.

– A 50-year-old man was arrested in the 4900 block of Highway 50 East at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at. $1,369.

– Report of a 13-year-old boy throwing chairs at Carson Middle School at 9:01 a.m.

– Report of a car crashing into mailboxes on Ashby Court at 8:31 a.m.

– Report of a battery in the 1900 block of Hamilton Avenue at 3 p.m.

– Report of a sexual assault on Granite Way at 4:30 p.m.

– Report of child abuse at 10:27 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

– Arrest of a man on four warrants on Citrus Street in Silver Springs at 1:55 p.m.

– Report of a barn and pumphouse break-in on Cherry Lane in Fernley at 4:21 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

– Report of trapped and screaming mountain lion on Rocky Road at 7:54 a.m.

– Report of the smell of propane at Virginia City High School at 3:03 p.m.

– Report of a one-vehicle accident in Gold Hill at 6:39 p.m.
