Thanks to those who inspired students on Career Day

We would like to thank the following community members for giving their time and talents to inspire our students during our first annual Career Day. Due to the efforts of these dedicated professionals, our students discovered new careers that they now embrace as part of their hopes and dreams for their futures. The presenters emphasized the importance of education, hard work and sacrifice. Thank you to all who helped inspire our future leaders.

Presenters: Troy Martin, Bridge Engineer, NDOT; Gina Session, attorney for Washoe County Schools; Dr. Mike Pulver, DVM, Timberline Animal Hospital; Lucia Patterson, geologist, Nevada Division of Minerals; Courtney Brailo, geologist, Nevada Division of Minerals; Chris Crookshanks, fisheries biologist, NDOW; Leann Morris, Carson City School District, lead technology integration specialist; Dr. Elizabeth Park, DDS; Joe Cacioppo, P.E., Resource Concepts Incorporated; Dr. Robert Fliegler, MD; Kylie Jensen, project analyst, Ormat Technologies; Janet Murphy, deputy director, State Budget Office.
