Auditions at Wild Horse Children’s Theater

Wild Horse Children’s Theater will hold auditions for “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” today and Saturday, June 7 for actors ages 14-18 at the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Carson St.

Senior center to hold jewelry sale fundraiser

Throughout the year, the Carson City Senior Citizens Center collects jewelry and periodically holds large jewelry sales as fundraisers for senior center programs. A sale will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the center, 911 Beverly Drive.

Jewelry donations can be left at the main center reception desk during weekday business hours. For information, call 883-0703.

Carson Elks host Veterans Dinner

Carson City Republican Women to meet

Dog obedience classes begin Tuesday

Guy Yeaman teaches dog obedience 6:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, Fuji Park Exhibit Hall. Cost is $75 for the six-week session.
