Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church hosts special ministry for Thanksgiving

Staff ReportEveryone is invited to join Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church for a special Thanksgiving service on Sunday, 1505 Railroad Drive.

The church will welcome Rudy Cervantes with Heavenly Trumpet Ministries as their special guest at 10:30 a.m. A love offering will be accepted to help with expenses.

Heavenly Trumpet Ministries is a full-time music ministry. Through the working of the Holy Spirit, the ministry desires to serve Jesus Christ.

The group takes the Scriptures seriously, and believe that their ministry has a commission to share the good news to non-believers and Christians alike. Some of their favorite verses are John 3:3, John 3:16, John 14:6 and Romans 6:23.

The mission of HTM is humble, as it functions to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, show the love of God to nonbelievers, and encourage those who are already in the Faith. Their ministry conveys this mission through the outlet of wholesome Christian music and celebration.

The ministry strives to rest autonomous from record contracts with music corporations. HTM is financed by its concert ministry, faithful supporters, and the grace of the Lord. This ministry is not engaged in any financial or concert promotion contracts by any outside talent agency. HTM maintains its conviction that it was commissioned to minister to individuals and not perform for audiences.

Above all, they keep His promises close to their hearts: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5)
