How to submit a public service announcement
To submit a public service announcement for any of the calendars or “Briefly” section published in the Nevada Appeal, the following information is required at least seven (7) days in advance:
* What is the name or purpose of the event?
* When is the event being held (include time and date)?
* Where is the event being held (include physical address)?
* Who is the contact person and his/her phone number?
All these items are important in getting the proper information out to our readers. Once the information is received, it is entered into the main calendar, or our Calendar of Events, and then placed onto our Internet calendar.
The Get Out calendar is drawn from the Calendar of Events. They are one and the same.
The Nevada Appeal now has an Internet Calendar of Events on which you may place your items.
The same information is requested in format. You may also add a Web site. The information is then edited and downloaded to our Web site.
