Inmate convicted of trying to get drugs in prison

Eric Davis was originally sent to prison by a Clark County judge for sexual assault and robbery with a deadly weapon.

Last week, he was convicted of attempting to have 24 grams of marijuana mailed to him in a shoebox. Investigators from the state Department of Corrections uncovered the plan before the drugs reached Davis.
