Read a real King James Bible

Concerning the holy fire event in Jerusalem, this celebration is not Christian and not found in scripture. It’s another pagan ritual, just like Ash Wednesday, Lent and many other man-made traditions. This is just another one, and yet ignorant people who call themselves Christians flock to these unscriptural events in droves. No one knows the exact spot that Jesus was born or the place he was crucified for sure, but just a few facts about the cities and towns. Doesn’t anyone read and study their bibles any more?

The First Commandment warns us not to make graven images of anything in heaven, in earth or in the water under the earth. True worship is in heart, not in rituals and man-made traditions. True worship is in spirit and in truth, in accordance to what the scriptures say worship is.

John 4:23: “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” Fire, in the Bible, is a sign of judgement. When it’s mentioned, not celebration, this event is pagan and truly born again Christians shouldn’t have nothing to do with it. Get a real King James Bible and read it, why don’t you?

Study the facts, history about Common Core

I guess if you keep saying it, people will think it’s true. Gov. Jim Gibbons, the Governor’s Office and any staff had nothing to do with Common Core. It was the National Governor’s Association which proposed the standards — an organization Gov. Gibbons rarely attended. Common Core was approved by the Board of Education.

Prior to Gov. Brian Sandoval’s legislatively approved changes, only the State Board of Education could approve any curriculum standards.

Any attempt to attach candidate for Assembly District 39 Robin Reedy to Common Core is just a distortion of fact by her opponent’s campaign. But never let the facts get in the way!
