Man found unconscious in car arrested for drug trafficing
A 49-year-old Carson City man found unconscious in his vehicle early Saturday morning was aroused only to find himself under arrest for allegedly trafficking in methamphetamine, according to Carson City Sheriff’s Department reports.
Sheriff’s Deputy M. Willette found Robert John Winslow passed out in his car at 1:28 a.m. with the engine running in the parking lot at the Ormsby Station Post Office. The deputy saw several small plastic bags with white powered rocks in the door pocket.
Winslow allegedly told the deputy it was methamphetamine. The contents weighed in at 5.6 grams, enough to be considered felony trafficking, the report said.
Bail was set at $20,000.
