University of Nevada regents approved a $4 per credit fee increase Ð the first fee hike since 1983. The action will boost the undergraduate per-credit hour fee from $36 to $40.

Carson City will provide transit services to Carson City residents who are disabled, senior residents, and state welfare recipients and the general public. Ormsby requested and received a $2 increase raising the city’s ride subsidy to $6.
