The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty:

— A 46-year-old contractor from Carson City was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Ruby Lane for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,105.

— Alvin Eugene Smith, a self-employed Carson City man, was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department for suspicion of felony attempted grand larceny. Bail was set at $10,000.

— Tania Ward, 35, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Carson City Jail for suspicion of felony forgery, uttering a forged instrument, misdemeanor possession of stolen property and receiving stolen property. Her bail was set at $12,500.

— A 35-year-old cab driver from Carson City was arrested at 12:54 a.m. Thursday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,105.

— A 30-year-old store owner from Kings Beach was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Thursday on South Stewart Street for suspicion of drunken driving and speeding. His bail was set at $1,185.
